You may have seen McCarthy’s in the local news this week. We’re delighted to announce that three new senior members of staff have joined the McCarthy’s team – to help make your customer experience better than ever.
Amongst others, the BusinessDesk and BLM have run stories about our new starters – Bob, Alan and Chris. But let us introduce you to them…
Alan Woodard, from Camblesforth near Selby, has 20 years’ experience in the removals industry, and will be taking the role of group operations manager. Alan’s new role sees him managing and overseeing the work undertaken by the removals teams across the group.
Bob Carney joins McCarthy’s as commercial business development manager where he will nurture existing clients and secure new commercial contracts within the self-store, Safe Shred and archive management areas of the business. Bob, who lives in Royston near Barnsley, brings with him a wealth of experience accumulated working in the industry for almost 40 years. Bob was also the Area Chairman for the British Association of Removers within the Yorkshire region for four years.
Finally, Chris Brookes, from Ilkley, will join the business as group financial controller, a position which will see him take over responsibility for the day-to-day management of the finance function. He’s the numbers man!
We are delighted to welcome them all to our team and look forward to working together. Combined, they bring with them vast industry experience, totalling a staggering eight decades. But what we in the office also want to know is – are their cuppa making skills up to scratch? Milk with one please…
