Here at McCarthy’s, we’re very proud of our Yorkshire roots. It seems over the past few years the region has gone from strength to strength and our ’12 Days of Yorkshire’ is a salute to our commitment to a place we’re very happy to be a part of. The set of moving images, or gifs as they’re more commonly known, we’ve created showcase some of the best things Yorkshire has to offer; from the Chuckle Brothers to the Tour de France, they include regional favorites and achievements that every person of Yorkshire will be familiar with.
The idea not only came from our love of Yorkshire, but also our love of Christmas. As a company with over 40 years of life in the region, we’re also aware of those less fortunate around us, especially around this time of year. In January we teamed up with St. Gemma’s Hospice to support with their Tree-cycle service and in 2016, we’ll be doing the same. Last year £7000 was raised for the Hospice in the collecting of nearly 700 trees and we hope that the same can be done this year. Collection dates will be from the 7th-9th of January and you can find more info about the project and how else to help on their site.
