Leisure & Attractions if Moving to Ripon

Ripon has some of the area’s most well-known and loved monuments and historic sites. Within Ripon itself is the striking and historic cathedral where people have been heading to worship for over 1,300 years. It now attracts many visitors each year. As well as this, in the local area is Studley Royal Park & the Ruins of Fountains Abbey UNESCO World Heritage Site. The ruins themselves are one of the largest and best preserved monasteries in England. This added to the perfectly maintained grounds attract more visitors to the grounds each year.

Ripon Racecourse is also a big draw for the area with frequent meets throughout the summer period.
