The village of Boroughbridge can be dated back to the Roman era with some remnants on display still to this day. Boroughbridge developed into a staging post for those travelling north and its easy to see why with its location in between major towns and cities in West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Humberside and the North East. Boroughbridge has no grown into a vibrant market town with a high street bustling with independent shops, cafes and of course classic British pubs.
