New Year’s Resolutions
And so the New Year is nearly upon us – that time of fresh starts and resolutions!
What resolutions will you be making this year?
One of the most common ones we get to hear about here at McCarthy’s is “We’re going to de clutter our house/garage/loft/lives”!
After Christmas it can feel like your house is going to burst at the seams. With new toys and presents, and cards and decorations still knocking around (not to mention all that leftover turkey taking over the fridge), it can feel like the only possible option is to find a bigger house!
But that’s where storage can come in. After taking down all the decorations, it’s the ideal time to have a good sort out and work out three piles in every room – to keep, to get rid of and to store. Whether it’s to keep it somewhere until you decide what to do with it, or to keep it safe until you do get that bigger house, it’s a cost-effective solution to keeping your sanity. After all, a tidy house is a tidy mind (or something like that…)
