The third in our Storage insider series – Ossett Antiques and Collectables
Ossett Antiques and Collectables are a start up business based in Wakefield. They have answered some questions on how self storage can help grow and expand a business.
- What does your business do?
We buy and sell antiques and collectables. These are sold mainly through my retail unit within the Wakefield Antique Centre in The Ridings, Wakefield.
- What size storage unit do you have at McCarthy’s?
50sq/ft. I have already up graded in size so I can store more items! I also have a mailbox facility.
- How long have you had your storage unit at McCarthy’s?
I have been here since the Wakefield branch opened earlier this year.
- What do you use the storage unit at McCarthy’s for?
I need space to store my antiques until they go on sale. Having the storage unit means I can buy job lots without having to worry about where to store everything.
- What do you find most useful about having a storage unit at McCarthy’s?
The flexibility, I have already up graded to a larger unit and may need to do so again as my business grows. It means I can keep my antiques safe and my house tidy!! Also being able to have the mailbox facility so I can have post and ebay returns posted to McCarthy’s.
