Business heats up this summer
We’ve celebrated a record summer – and hopefully that means the Yorkshire property market is finally getting back on its feet! In fact, we’d go so far as to say it’s been our busiest summer since the boom of 2007…
June, July and August are always the busiest months for home-moving – and this year we moved 1,100 households over those three months!
Hand in hand with that has been a busy time in our storage units, and we’ve been about 98 per cent full over the summer! The two elements of our business are often interlinked as people want to declutter while they try to sell their house or if they’re downsizing they may need somewhere to store things while they work out the layout of their new home. Other times, the completion date on the sale may not match up with the completion date on the purchase so there’s a period of time in between.
But never fear – no matter how busy we are, we’ll manage to fit you in if you need us!
